MLK Day of Service

MLK Day of Service is a volunteer event that supports projects that respond to community needs such as food insecurity, recent disasters, climate change and environmental sustainability, and activities that promote justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Global Youth Service Day

Global Youth Service Days, the largest service event in the world, is being observed in all 50 states and more than 100 countries; Global Youth Service Day is an annual day of action that celebrates and mobilizes children and teens who improve their communities through community service and service learning;

April Volunteer Month

Engaging youth in volunteerism can give them a voice to implement change. By learning the power of volunteerism at a young age, these Michiganders are fostering a lifelong passion of making a difference and strengthening communities – making our state more resilient.

September 11 National Day of Service

As a positive way to forever remember and pay tribute to the victims of September 11, honor those that rose in service in response to the attacks, and to remind people of the importance of working more closely together to improve our world.

In consideration of being allowed to participate in the volunteer event(s) organizeed by TEK Ready Computer Learning Academy ("TEK Ready"), I the undersigned, do hereby acknowledge and agree to the following:

Voluntary Participation

I understand that my participation in this event is voluntary. I also acknowledge that I am participating in activities related to Information Technology services and workshops, which may include but are not limited to, demonstrations, group discussions, and hands-on activities with no guarantee of any specific outcome from my participation

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree to release, hold harmless, and indemnify TEK Ready Computer Learning Academy, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or in connection with my participation in this event. This includes, but is not limited to, personal injury, property damage, or any other loss or harm sustained

Consent to Use of Photographs and Videos

I hereby consent to the recording, photographing, and video capturing of my image and/or voice during the event(s). I grant TEK Ready Computer Learning Academy the right to use any such photographs, videos, or other media (hereinafter referred to as "Media") for marketing, educational, and promotional purposes in any format, whether digital, print, or online.

Parental Consent for Minor Participants (if applicable)

If the participant is under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete this section.
